Independent Baptist Fellowships of Georgia

   Saved as a teenager, Donald Richards began preaching at the age of 18.  He has pastored six churches and has been the Pastor of Corinth Baptist Church in Loganville, Georgia for the past 40 years.  He currently serves as President of Baptist Institute of America and Seminary in Loganville, Georgia.

   Pastor Richards served on the Executive Board of Macedonia World Baptist Missions for 35 years. Having retired in September of 2008 from the MWBM Board, he held the position of President for 25 years.

RICHARDS, DON

    Pastor Richards studied and received 16 credit hours at Mercer University.  In 1968, he transferred to Antioch Baptist College in Marietta, Georgia where he received his B.A. Degree in Bible.  In 1985, he received his Masters Degree from Covington Baptist Theological Seminary.  In 1987, he earned his Doctor of Religious Education Degree from Trinity Baptist Seminary. In 1975, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Gwinnett Hall Baptist College. 

   Pastor Richards and his wife, Catherine, have been married for 56 years and have three children. Their son is pastor of Gwinnett Hall Baptist Church.
